Successful Luncheon Fundraiser for A Child’s Place Scholarship Fund

A Child’s Place School, based in Lincroft, recently held its annual ladies’ luncheon fundraiser to benefit the school’s scholarship fund. The fun event was held at The Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank on April 26, with attendees coming from all over the Two River area. The afternoon also included a farm-to-table presentation given by Molzon’s Nursery and Honey Brook Organic Farm.

A Child’s Place Scholarship Fund is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation created to provide tuition assistance to families in need, so that more children could afford to attend A Child’s Place School. For the past 20 years, they’ve provided more than $400,000 in scholarships to more than 210 families. The fund was established in 1990 and is completely volunteer-driven, with 100 percent of the monies used for tuition assistance and fundraising expenses.
