If you’re looking for great music, this year’s Monmouth County Fair is the place to be with terrific acts each night on the Main Stage. The fun kicks off with the Amish Outlaws on Wednesday, July 27 at 8:15 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Full of infectious energy, the band’s play list ranges from Billy Idol to Elle King with plenty of surprises in between.
Be sure to wear your dancing shoes when Dr. Cheeko takes the stage on Thursday, July 28 at 8:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Known for their distinct island sound, Dr. Cheeko and his band promise to deliver a good time and get the audience moving. Then on Friday, July 29, the state’s premier rock band program Rockit! Count Basie Live brings talented musicians age 8-18 to perform at 8:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
On Saturday, July 30, Jet Weston and His Atomic Ranch Hands take the stage at 8:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Described as “pure fiddling’, jazz-chordin’ Western swing with a cowboy crooner presentation” this band is pure delight. Then The Chuck Lambert Band brings the blues to life on Sunday, July 31 at 12 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. Incorporating modern electric blues with more traditional forms, The Chuck Lambert Band is sure to deliver an unforgettable time.

The Fair gate is open 5-11 p.m. on Wednesday-Friday, July 27-29; 3-11 p.m. on Saturday, July 30; and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday, July 31 at East Freehold Showgrounds, Kozloski Road, Freehold Township. Admission is $8 per person. Children age 12 and under are free.
