Fair Haven’s Tree Lighting and Holiday Stroll

On Friday, December 2, everyone is welcome to join the town of Fair Haven in their charming holiday celebration! The evening’s events will include the tree lighting, arrival of Santa on a firetruck, visits and photographs with Santa, free food, and attractions and open houses at businesses up and down River Road. The schedule includes:

• 5:00 p.m. – Holiday Stroll begins. Tour the many shops throughout the River Road East business district. Visitors will enjoy a stocking-full of attractions, and food and snacks will be offered at local stores and businesses. There will be live music and children’s activities in Memorial Park.

• 5:30 p.m. – Santa arrives in Memorial Park on his special firetruck. Visits and photos with Santa begin.

• 6:00 p.m. – Tree Lighting and music

Rumson Tree Lighting

Come out on Sunday, December 4 at 5:00 p.m. at Victory Park. Be a part of this joyful celebration of music, Santa, and those dancing reindeer! Then get ready as Mayor Ekdahl throws the switch to light the tree.

Sea Bright Tree Lighting

On Friday, December 2 at 5:00 p.m., all are welcome to Tommy’s Tap Room to watch the borough’s spectacular 20-foot-tall Christmas tree come alive in lights. Mayor Dina Long and Tommy and Yvette, owners of Tommy’s, will throw the switch, while event goers enjoy free hot cocoa and roasted chestnuts. Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will arrive via Sea Bright firetruck, so bring your cameras and your list of presents, and don’t forget to also bring donations for the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots drive.
