On Friday, November 11, there will be a special Veterans Day program to honor veterans and widows of veterans of CBI at the Friday Shabbat Services, starting at 7:00 p.m. Following the program, there will be a special Oneg (dessert). On Sunday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m. is a lecture, Expose & Confront the Lies & Distortions of BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions), The Insidious Threat to Destroy Israel. Sponsored by the CBI Adult Education Committee, the lecture will be given by speaker Seffi Kogen, assistant director of Campus Affairs at AJC: Global Jewish Advocacy. The lecture is free and open to the public. Every high school and college student and their parents should attend.
