Attention, American Girl fans!
On Sunday, November 16 at 11:45 a.m., Congregation B’nai Israel (CBI) in Rumson will be hosting an American Girl Tea Party for kids age 6 and up. Bring your favorite doll to meet Rebecca Rubin, an American Girl historic character who grew up in New York in 1914. The tea party will include a light lunch, beverage, and dessert, plus crafts and puzzles. Everyone welcome, but seating is limited, so register early. The cost is $5 per CBI member and $10 for non-members. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Register by November 12 at www.cbirumson.org.
Founded in 1922 and celebrating its 92nd anniversary this year, CBI is an egalitarian, conservative synagogue located at 171 Ridge Road in Rumson. The synagogue, which hosts religious services, cultural events, as well as adult and youth education, currently serves approximately 300 families from Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
