Woman’s Club of Middletown Prepares for Holidays

The holiday activities for the daytime and evening members of the Woman’s Club of Middletown are well underway. Members will hold their annual Holiday Luncheon on Saturday, December 3 at the Crown Palace, Highway 35 Middletown. Members will be collecting hats, gloves, and scarves for Calico Cat, in addition to their monthly food donations. The decorated gift trees for the club’s 17th annual Holiday Gift Trees Project are currently in place at the PNC Bank, Chapel Hill; the Santander Bank branches on Harmony Road and New Monmouth Road; the Ocean First Bank, Shop Rite Plaza; and the Wells Fargo Bank, Kings Highway East. The project will be conducted through December 15. Public participation is greatly appreciated, and all gifts collected will be given to the Visiting Nurses Association in Belford for distribution.

The club is a member of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs of GFWC. Daytime members meet at 12:00 noon on the first Thursday of the month and the evening members meet at 7:30 p.m. on the second Thursday.
