Adorable Adoptables Monmouth County SPCA

Brownie 2Hi, my name is Brownie and I am 3 year old Terrier mix who was surrendered to the shelter because my previous family moved and could’t take me with them.  I am a bit shy when you first meet but, once I get to know you, I am a super friendly and lovable girl.  I am a very energetic girl who loves to run around and play with all of my toys.  I do especially enjoy a nice game of tug of war!!!

I have made some great new friends here at the shelter and some of my volunteer friends take me for outings to their house!!!  I get so excited in the car when I realize that we are headed to their home for an overnight.  These friends have reported that my favorite thing to do is chill on the sofa!  They also said I love kisses and hugs but I’m not really a lap dog. (I’m more of a snuggle dog)!

I am now hoping to find a new home to call my own with an adult only family.  My previous family reported that I was fully housebroken and that I even enjoy being bathed and brushed!  I am a smart girl, as I know all of my basic commands and then some.  And as if that was not enough I also like other dogs so I wouldn’t mind a canine sibling or two to play with either.  Lets face it, I am the perfect package all in one!

PyeHi there, future family! My name is PyeWacket. I am so happy to be here at the Monmouth County SPCA. I am truly one lucky guy. You see, one morning back in July, shortly after being surrendered to the shelter by my previous family, one of the kennel workers found me very sick in my cubby. He sprung to action and got me help right away. I needed emergency surgery as I had a blockage that prevented me from urinating. The condition is so serious that I could’ve died!!!!!
The shelter staff rushed me to Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, where the lifesaving surgery was performed. I am forever grateful to the wonderful people there. Now, I am back on the adoption floor in good health, ready and waiting for my forever family to come along.

I am a very friendly talkative 5-year young man who loves to be around people. I am quite the entertainer if I do say so myself. I am a snugglebug and I love to be petted and loved. I am like a dog, in that I’ll follow you around and be a loyal sidekick. I get along with other kitty cats and well-behaved doggies too!!!
The surgery that saved my life was made possible thanks to generous donations from people like you.  Please consider donating to the Duchess Fund, which enables the shelter to provide extensive medical care to animals in critical condition.

Talk about cats having 9 lives-I definitely cashed in on that!! And..I can’t wait to start my next life with YOU!!!!!
