8th Annual Beauty Ball

Few phrases change a person’s life more profoundly than “you have cancer.” Cancer is devastating to the whole family. But with your help, it doesn’t have to be. Beauty Ball, hosted by The Beauty Foundation for Cancer Care, brings our community together to support families with men, women, or children being treated for cancer.

The Beauty Ball, now in its 8th year, is the largest fundraising effort for The Beauty Foundation for Cancer Care. Beauty Ball will be held on Saturday, March 22 from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. at Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck, NJ. Please help The Beauty Foundation to continue to support families dealing with the impact of cancer. Join them for an evening filled with spectacular live and silent auction items, casino, fine food, cocktails, and incredible entertainment.

In addition to honoring Dr. Gregory Greco of Sea Bright and NYC with the 4th Annual Diamond Award of Philanthropy, The Beauty Foundation for Cancer Care is also very pleased to announce two Courage Award recipients: Ms. Ramona Lerner and Mr. Dave Cantin. There will be three special guests in attendance to introduce the award winners. Chef David Burke, owner of Fromagerie Restaurant in Rumson, will present his longtime friend and business associate, Ms. Ramona Lerner, with the Woman of Courage Award. Former NY Giant, Brad Benson, will introduce his longtime friend and business partner, Mr. David Cantin, who will receive the Peter Criss Man of Courage Award. Peter Criss himself will present the award to Mr. Cantin. Mr. Criss, the co-founder and drummer of the rock and roll supergroup, KISS, is also a male breast cancer survivor and advocate for male cancer awareness. He was the first recipient of the award in 2013, which was subsequently named after him. The Courage Awards are given to people who have battled or who are currently battling cancer with bravery and dignity.

Since its inception in 2007, The Beauty Foundation for Cancer Care has supported over 1,000 families by providing grants and services to cover such costs as transportation, household bills, groceries, housecleaning services, and childcare. With your generosity and support, they will be able to continue to help these families and maintain special programs such as “Prom” for teens and young adults with cancer, their holiday Adopt-a-Family Program and their “Basket Brigade” Thanksgiving meal delivery initiative. Please continue to support these families who so desperately need help.
