By Lori Draz On October 26, Rene Stone, founder of Serenity Stables from Combat to Calm, hosted a horse meet and greet day for disabled veterans. Community YMCA Honors Benedict J. Torcivia, JR.

On October 15, the Community YMCA presented the Distinguished Citizen Service Award to Benedict J. Torcivia, Jr., co-president of Torcon, Inc., at The YCares Annual Benefit held at Stillwell Stables in Colts Neck. The nonprofit event also commemorated the 10th anniversary of Y Achievers, a college-readiness program for at-risk teens.
