The American Civil War ended in 1865. It had lasted four years and killed at least 620,000 soldiers, North and South. On Saturday, July 30, 2016, the Museum will honor American Civil War veterans at a flag-raising ceremony on the Woolley House grounds. The Woolley House will be open on the evening of Saturday July, 30, 2016. We will have a flag ceremony and remembrance to those veterans who served. Taste Sweet Success At The Monmouth County Fair Pie-Eating Contest

On your mark, get set, eat! A splendidly messy pie-eating contest will be held on the last day of the Monmouth County Fair, Sunday, July 31. This messy but delicious contest uses pies donated by Wemrock Orchards. Children age 12 and under will compete at 1 p.m. and ages 13 and up at 1:15 p.m. Those interested can register inside the Home & Garden tent starting at 11 a.m. Winners take home a trophy.
