WASHINGTON POST RANKS RBR AMONG THE MOST CHALLENGING HIGH SCHOOLS IN THE COUNTRY

According to the Washington Post, Red Bank Regional (RBR) has been ranked as one of the most challenging high schools in the nation. Of the 1,900 schools that made the eminent publication’s list (out of 22,000 public and private high schools in the country), RBR ranked number 889, or within the top half of the most challenging schools.  RBR also ranked number 19 of 93 in the state of New Jersey and number one in Monmouth County, ahead of such schools as Rumson Fair Haven and Holmdel. ...

RFH GIRLS’ LACROSSE RECLAIMS SHORE CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT CROWN

After a disappointing loss in the Shore Conference Tournament finals last year, where they had hoped to gain their second consecutive victory, Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School girls’ lacrosse team was determined to reclaim its crown in 2013.  They achieved that goal by defeating Red Bank Catholic 14-8 in the Shore Conference Lacrosse final at Monmouth University. Jason Lippart, freshman guidance counselor at Rumson-Fair Regional High School, was honored recently for his many contributions to the students of Long Branch. The sweltering sauna that has enveloped the township this summer has not slowed down or stopped the sterling and steadfast volunteers on the Colts Neck First Aid Squad.
